Messiah Project - Prelude (November 2025)
The year-long Messiah Project started with regular choir rehearsals in July 2025 to prepare for the first concert on 30 November 2025, presenting Messiah Part 1 (the Advent and Christmas elements) with a choir of 45 voices, in collaboration with the Great Barrier Reef Orchestra. Our soloists were Alice Beams (soprano), Keely Pronk (alto), Harrison Thomas (tenor), and Gerrish Burstow (bass), performing at the beautiful East Precinct of St. Patrick’s College (The Strand) for an audience of more than 400 people.

Rehearsals continued in term 1 of 2026 in preparation of Concert 2: Messiah - Interlude, featuring Messiah Parts 2 and 3.
